Description:  The University of South Carolina Child Development and Research Center opened in September, 2003. The Center's first floor houses a full-day year-round non-profit child development center accredited by the NAEYC. The second floor is a research center with observation areas and technology-enhanced classrooms for USC faculty and students.

The Center follows the WestEd Program for Infant/Toddler Caregivers (PITC) approach to administering a child care program with children ages birth to 3 years old.
