EQ also provides ongoing professional development to all EQ instructors and coaches. The main component of the initiative is a 48-hour training course for child care providers, Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care (EQUIT). The curriculum emphasizes relationship-based and reflective work with children, parents, and profesionals. EQUIT is offered in communities across the state by a cadre of locally based EQ Community Teachers. Updated July 2009 |
