Description:
North Carolina's Infant-Toddler Enhancement Project is coordinated statewide by a Project Manager. The 25 Infant Toddler Specialists are employed by the18 CCR&R region lead agencies to provide support and professional development services to infant-toddler child care providers. Services include: technical assistance, consultation on the infant environment rating scale, gathering local data, distributing educational materials, and providing oversight of I/T improvement grants.
The program is available in all 100 counties in North Carolina. The Child Care Services Association (one of the CCR&Rs) manages the program for the North Carolina Division of Child Development.
