Description:  T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® MINNESOTA (Teacher Education and Compensation Helps) is a scholarship program for early childhood and school-age care providers. The program provides scholarships for tuition and books toward a CDA, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in early childhood to individuals working in family day care or child care centers. Recipients who successfully complete their contract receive a bonus and must commit to continue working at least one year in their current position.

Centers with employees who receive T.E.A.C.H. scholarships must pay a portion of the empoyee's education expenses, provide part-time paid leave during the course of the grant, and guarantee the employee either a bonus or a raise at the end of the grant contract.
