First Steps promotes the school readiness of infants and toddlers by strengthening the knowledge and pratice of caregivers. Infant/Toddler specialists based in the regional CCR&R agencies support providers with technical assistance, information about the Step Up to Quality quality improvement program, access to training in Ohio's Infant and Toddler Guidelines and other professional development resources, and assessments using the ITERS instrument.
