Description:
"Over the past few years, the Department has offered WestEd [Program for Infant/Toddler Caregivers] training… Due to a limited number of certified trainers, the training has only been available quarterly and often the caregiver must travel long distances to access the training.
The Department has recently contracted with WestEd to conduct a trainer institute in Wyoming for the purpose of increasing the number of trainers in the state. The first institute will be held in July 2003 and the second will be conducted in July 2004. As more trainers are qualified, monthly training will become available in every county in Wyoming.
This project will help infant/toddler caregivers meet licensing requirements specific to the qualifications and continuing education of these individuals."
