Description:  A 35 hour a week Infant Toddler Specialist works to help develop and coordinate statewide infant and toddler services in Maine. In addition, this person offers statewide technical assistance to programs serving infants and toddlers, as well as serving as team leader on Maine's Infant Toddler Initiative Team.

Activities of the Team include hosting Infant Toddler Awareness Days at the State House, creating a Public Service Announcement, offering a number of Train the Trainer opportunities for Infant Toddler professional development, publishing Maine’s Infant Toddler Guidelines and creating a 3 tiered Infant Toddler Credential.
