Description:  The California Child Care Healthline provides free telephone consultations to California early care and education programs and families on child health, safety, and well-being in early care and education settings. The Healthline is a toll-free number, 800-333-3212, that is staffed Monday through Friday by professional nurses and other specialists in the areas of child health and safety, public health, infant and toddler caregiving, child behavior and mental health, and inclusion of children with chronic health conditions or other special needs.

Healthline also offers a website with answers to Frequently Asked Questions and information on how to obtain publications and posters about various child health issues.
