Description:  R.E.E.T.A.I.N (Retaining Early Educators Through Attaining Incentives Now) is a workforce retention program that seeks to reduce the turnover rates among child care providers who work with young children by awarding annual grants to providers. Grants range from $1,000 to $3,500 depending on the recipient's level of education. To be eligible for the program, providers must: be licensed or work for a licensed program; work at least 30 hours a week with the same one or two groups of children; have been in their current position for at least one year; have a CDA, Associate, Bachelors or higher degree; and be willing to commit to staying in their position for one year.
