Description:  The Traveling Resource and Information Library System (TRAILS) consists of 8 resource vans operated by the West Virginia's CCR&R agencies. Each staffed by an early childhood specialist and an early childhood associate, the vans travel to family child care homes and centers to provide technical assistance and materials to support quality learning environments.

Resources available in the vans include learning materials, children's books, professional development books, videos for provider use, infant equipment, and assistive technology for children with special needs. The early childhood specialists also provide individual professional development to in-home family child care providers.

The vans also travel to community events to provide consumer education and outreach, distribute resource pamphlets, and promote early childhood issues.
